UPDATE: More Details Released on Speedway Robbery

Lexington police said they responded to reports of a Speedway being robbed on Beaumont Centre Drive just before 2:30 Friday morning, when a man allegedly entered the store and handed a note to the clerk, demanding cash.

Officers said the robber then revealed he had a handgun.

Investigators said after getting the money, the man ran out and headed toward Texas Roadhouse.

The suspect has been described as Hispanic and around 5'2" with a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt, blue jeans, and had a black cloth covering his face.

Police do not believe prints were left on the note the man left behind.
