A maintenance worker from Blue Lick State Park, who was volunteering with search teams, said he found Nancy Pugh unresponsive in a barn loft in a remote area of the park just after 5 Wednesday afternoon.

The barn was so isolated, it took two ambulances to get Pugh to an area where she could be flown to UK Hospital.

Pugh's husband said he last saw his wife around 4am, as he left to go work on their farm.

He returned around three hours later to wake her up for a doctor's appointment, but couldn't find her.

An investigation by State Police and the Robertson County Sheriff's Office is underway.
