The Department of Education has announced a makeup date for last Tuesday's ACT Exam.
It said the makeup test was now scheduled for March 18th.
Most state schools were closed last Tuesday and did not give the college-readiness exam.
Juniors in Kentucky public high schools are required to take the ACT.
It's designed to assess English, reading, mathematics and science.
If inclement weather affects the March 18th exam plans, the state said it would then make up the test on April 15th.
The Department of Education said it began negotiating with ACT, Inc. on new test dates several weeks ago.
It wanted to make sure it was prepared with the high number of snow days that districts had used this winter.
“We recognize and sympathize with the difficulties this winter has presented to our school districts,” Kentucky Commissioner of Education Terry Holliday said. “That is why we have been working hard to find a solution that would accommodate them and ensure that every student who should be tested will be tested."
