Jurors in Scott County deliberated late Monday about whether James Anthony Gray killed his parents.
Gray is accused in their 2007 deaths. He was arrested in 2008, and confessed to the crime later. But he says police coerced that confessed, by saying if he didn't confess, he would be executed. He says they also claimed he had "blacked out," and didn't remember committing the crime.
Closing arguments were heard Monday. The jury received the case around 5:15. At one point, they stopped to review Gray's taped confession. That took an hour and a half. Then, they resumed deliberations.
