UPDATE:

According to KSP investigators and the Medical Examiner's Office, foul play is suspected in this death.

KSP Detective Jeff Senters says the investigation has been upgraded from "death" to "murder" as it continues.

Kentucky State Troopers are investigating a homicide after finding a man shot to death in a Clay County residence on Wednesday.

Carl House, 59, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clay County Coroner's Office.

Police are still trying to determine how and why House was shot.

The coroner said House had been shot more than one time.
