Two injured firefighters have resumed their posts and another has been upgraded to stable condition, according to Campbellsville Rescue Fire Chief Kyle Smith.

In a statement released Monday, Smith said Captain Steve Marrs and firefighter Alex Johnson are back on duty following Thursday's "Ice Bucket Challenge" accident at Campbellsville University.

Smith also noted that Simon Quinn has been upgraded from serious to stable condition at University of Louisville Hospital.

The other fireman, Captain Tony Grider, remains in critical condition, according to officials.

Quinn and Grider were in the bucket portion of a fire truck that was spraying water on the university's marching band as part of an ALS fundraising event. According to reports, the bucket came into close contact with power lines, resulting in the injuries.
