The first public forum on drawing new school attendance boundaries in the Fayette County Public School system scheduled for June 12 has been moved to June 26.

The district said the site for the June 12 meeting could no longer host the event.

Here is the updated public hearing schedule:
  • June 26, 6-8 p.m. at Bryan Station High School gym, 201 Eastin Road
  • July 10, 6-8 p.m. at Lafayette High School gym, 401 Reed Lane
Each event will begin with a presentation and overview, followed by facilitated small group discussions to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to be heard.

A member of the school zone committee will sit in each small group session to hear the feedback directly and small groups will share out before the end of the forum.

The public is invited to both events.

If you can't make it, you are encouraged to use www.fcps.net/letstalk to communicate with the entire committee.

Every comment submitted through Let's Talk is being shared with all of the committee members.

Relevant information is also being posted frequently at www.fcps.net/zones.
