LEXINGTON, Ky. – The annual Kentucky-Louisville rivalry has been scheduled for Dec. 27 in Louisville’s Yum! Center and will air on ESPN2.

This year’s event is being hailed as the Basketball Hall of Fame Shootout with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the non-profit Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass.

UK leads the all-time series against Louisville 32-15, including a pair of wins in the 2013-14 season. The Wildcats defeated the Cardinals 73-66 in Rupp Arena during the regular season and advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament following a 74-69 win over UofL in Indianapolis.

Kentucky has won six of its last seven meetings with Louisville.

Game time will be announced at a later date.
