Administrators at the University of Kentucky have decided to let some areas on campus have alcohol, although no exact locations have been announced.

On Thursday, the college said guidelines and conditions would be set for alcohol to be allowed at UK, but no specifics were given.

In addition, the school is expanding its code of conduct for students to locations off campus.

UK President Eli Capilouto said these steps are to make sure students and others stay as safe as possible, while strengthening the university's relationship with the community.
