A University of Kentucky Law Professor was “taken by surprise” when her work was cited by one of the Justices in Thursday’s landmark ruling on President Obama’s Healthcare Reform Law.

Nicole Huberfeld teaches Constitutional and Health Care Law.

She says she is “flattered” by the mention and has been flooded with questions since the 4-5 opinion was published.

Huberfeld’s work is Footnote 13 in Justice Ginsberg’s concurring opinion.

According to Huberfeld, the Justice was citing historical information Huberfeld published about Medicaid.
