Last season, Max Smith took over for Morgan Newton at quarterback for the Cats.

That's what everyone remembers.  Something else many Solid Blue fans also can't forget, Teddy Bridgewater took over the Cards in 2011 and helped UofL to a win over UK.

You could say the two new starting QB's of the in-state rivals have a lot in common and know exactly what the other one is feeling.

You could also say the UK defense can't wait to get its hands on the man they created according to UK defensive coordinator Rick Minter.
