John Calipari is a master recruiter.  Today, Cal nabbed 6'10" power forward...Trey Lyles out of Indianapolis.  Ranked as a top-ten player, Solid Blue fans will like Lyles even better for picking UK over Louisville.

So there's Tyler Ullis, Devin Booker and Karl Towns for 2014's class.

Just need a small forward now and Lyles says he'll go get big-time prospect Stanley Johnson for that.

Right now, the basketball Cats aren't very good.  At least as a whole, according to Calipari.

And after just a 23-point win over division two competition last night, maybe Cal's right...for right now anyway.

More from the head coach in the video.
