The University of Kentucky Athletics department approved a ticket price increase for Men's Basketball in the 2012-2013 season.

UK officials say it will affect season and single game tickets, as well as K Fund reserved seats.

The increases will create $3.5 million in revenue--$2.25 million from ticket increases, and $1.25 million from the K Fund seats.

Ticket prices for season seats will increase from $40 to $45 per game for lower level, and $35 to $40 per game for upper level.

Ticket prices for single games will increase from $40 to $50 per game for lower level, and $35 to $42 per game for upper level.
