UK Hospital has been ranked as the best hospital in Kentucky by US News and World Report.
The magazine lists UK as 'high performing' in several categories including cancer, diabetes, Ear, nose & throat, gynecology and others.
The hospital's Chief Administrator Ann Smith praised hospital employees.
She says it takes a team to provide advanced, innovative care to patients.
