The University of Kentucky now has 880-thousand dollars from the U.S. Department of Energy.
The grant is to promote nuclear innovation. Students studying nuclear energy will get scholarships and fellowships. The grant is a part of a larger national effort, with the government giving out 47 million dollars in grants to universities across America.
