UK Football Kick Off Times, Kick Off Luncheon Announced

UK football announces kick off times for its first two home games as well as the date for its annual Kick Off Luncheon.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Game times for the Kentucky football team's home opener against Kent State and following home game against Western Kentucky University will both be night games.

The Southeastern Conference announced the television schedule on Monday for the first three weeks of the 2012 football season.

The Wildcats’ home opener against Kent State on Sept. 8 will be at 7:30 p.m. and will be televised by Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS). 

On Sept. 15, UK will play host to in-state foe Western Kentucky University at 7 p.m.  ESPNU will handle the telecast.

As had been announced previously, UK will start the season at Louisville in Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium on Sept. 2 at 3:30 p.m.  The game will be televised on ESPN.

UK Football Kickoff Luncheon
The annual University of Kentucky Football Kickoff Luncheon has been set for Friday, July 27, at the Lexington Center Bluegrass Ballroom.

Head coach Joker Phillips will speak and field questions from members of the audience.

Individual tickets cost $40 each and a table for 10 costs $400.
