UK baseball head coach Gary Henderson signed a new fiver-year deal worth roughly $2 million in guaranteed compensation.

He also has performance incentives for reaching various goals throughout the season.

The Bat Cats are coming off the best year in program history.  Henderson though, says he doesn't want to rest on such a small success.  Yes, the season was good, but there's still plenty left to be done in Lexington and beyond.

In fact, what Henderson had to say today after talking about his new contract may surprise you if you aren't familiar with the coach.  His goals, remain unchanged from a year ago.  Win.
