Police have arrested a man who they believe is connected to an accidental shooting at Georgetown College.
Police have arrested a man who they believe is connected to an accidental shooting at Georgetown College.

Terrence Boyd, a student at Georgetown College, was taken into custody Thursday and charged with wanton endangerment.

The Georgetown Police said Boyd and another student, who is a football player, were near the campus tennis courts when Boyd allegedly fired a gun towards the ground.

They said the bullet bounced and hit the other student in the leg.

He was taken to UK Hospital and released after being treated, according to officials.
