U.S. Army Cadet Corps Responds To Sexual Abuse Allegations

The U.S. Army Cadet Corps in Bourbon County is responding to a lawsuit alleging that two cadets were abused at the school.
The Army Cadet Corps is responding to a lawsuit alleging that two cadets were sexually abused at the school in Bourbon County.

Colonel Jospeh Land, the acting commander for the Army Cadet Corps said no current staff member is under investigation, and added that no charges have been filed against any person with past or present experience with the corps.

Land said anyone who works or volunteers with the corps must undergo a background check.

One of the cases of reported abuse was by an instructor, and the other by a cadet.
