U.K. Police said goodbye Friday to a special officer who had spent ten years on the force.

The department's longest-serving K9, Becka, is retiring after being diagnosed with cancer.

Becka has worked security for Kentucky Derbies and Super Bowls.

She is very close to her human partner, Lieutenant Rob Turner.

"I consider her my kid. She goes to work with me every single day. She goes everywhere with me. So I make sure I keep her safe and healthy. It's going to be a long journey to make sure the chemo treatments work and the cancer can be taken care of," said Turner.
