Two Stabbed During Family Dispute

Lexington police arrested and charged a woman after two people were stabbed during a family dispute.
 A woman was arrested Monday night after police said she stabbed two people during a fight with family members.
 Police said they were called to a home at 1179 Atiya Place just after 7 p.m.
 They said several family members got into a fight and Jasmine Hughes, 23, pulled out a steak knife and stabbed a man in the arm and a woman in the back.
 The woman's  wound was superficial, according to police, who said her clothing stopped the knife blade from penetrating further.
 Both victims were transported to the University of Kentucky hospital with non life-threatening injuries. 
 Hughes was transported to St. Joseph Hospital to be treated for lacerations on her face that she received during the fight.
 Hughes.was later arrested and charged with two counts of assault.
