Two teenage girls died, and a third went to the emergency room after an overnight crash in Woodford County.  The crash happened while storms rolled through.

18 year old Destinee Barr and 19 year old Marissa Elmore died in the accident.  Police say Barr was driving.

On Wednesday she tweeted: "I never wanna end on a bad note with anyone.  You never know the last time you'll talk to them."

Barr's last tweet came about two hours before the crash.  She wrote, "I hate waiting on people more than anything in this world."

Somebody replied asking if she will wait for her friends to join her in heaven.

18 year old Miranda Smith is recovering at UK hospital.  A spokesperson says she is in good condition.

The crash happened at the intersection of KY 341 and US 421 in Midway.  Police say Barr failed to yield the right of way to a pick up truck.  Police are investigating what role weather may have played.  We spoke to a fireman who arrived to the scene.

"A lot of rain, a lot of wind, the car was over in the ditch, and we just had to use the jaws of life to extract the victims," said Captain Larry Craig, Woodford County Fire Department.

Police say the girls were on their way to Lexington.

Police say the girls are from the Louisville area.

Police say the driver of the other car suffered very minor injuries.
