Two people are injured after a car accident in Lexington this afternoon.

Police say it happened just before 4 p.m.

They say the driver of a blue Chevy Malibu changed lanes and hit a minivan head on.

Police say both drivers were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
