Police are searching for two men who robbed a Lexington restaurant early Thursday morning.

It happened at the Waffle House on Athens Boonesboro Road just after 4:00 a.m.

Police said the men were wearing masks and carrying guns when they went into the restaurant and demanded money from the two female employees working there.

The suspects took off with about $250 from the cash register. Police said they left in a blue, four-door passenger car and were last seen driving outbound on Athens Boonesboro.

No one was hurt in the robbery.
