Two people are dead following a crash in Estill County Sunday.
It happened just after 12 p.m. on Kentucky 52 and Richmond Road just west of Irvine.
Kentucky State Police said Shelby Harrison, 18, was trying to avoid oncoming traffic when her car crossed into the opposite lane and hit a Chevrolet Equinox.
The Chevy was driven by William Neal, 50, who was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner.
Neal's passenger, Ronald Whittaker, 75, was taken to a hospital where he later died.
Harrison was also taken to a hospital to be treated for her injuries.
Her passenger, Justice Colton, 20, was not injured.
Police said all passengers appear to have been wearing seat belts.
  The crash remains under investigation.
