Two Injured When Car Crashes Into Restaurant

A chinese food dinner, with an unexpected interruption. Lexington Police tell ABC 36 news that a Mercedes accidentally ran into the Happy China restaurant in the Eastland Shopping Center on Winchester Road Sunday afternoon. According to police, a driver was backing up, became blocked by a pole, put the car back in drive, hit the gas too hard and ran into the restaurant. The driver and someone in the restaurant had minor injuries but were treated there. The car has been moved. repair work on the restaurant is underway.
