A man and a woman have been charged with drug trafficking and endangerment of a child after drugs and scales were found in an infant's room, according to the Franklin County Sheriff.

Sheriff Pat Melton says his office conducted three search warrants last Wednesday and arrested four individuals on drug related charges.

Two of those individuals, Paul Boone and Leah Herbert were indicted on charges of trafficking cocaine and marijuana and child endangerment.

Sheriff Melton says an ounce of cocaine and marijuana were found in an infant's room along with scales for weighing the drugs.

The sheriff says all the suspects arrested have ties to Detroit.
