Two people were injured and power was knocked out to a Georgetown neighborhood following a crash Tuesday night.
Scott County Sheriff's deputies said a passing driver spotted the wreck on Cincinnati Road just before 10:30 p.m.
The car went off the road and into a power pole, knocking out power to some homes in the area.
Deputies said the 42-year-old passenger was flown to the University of Kentucky hospital and was listed in critical condition after undergoing surgery.
The 29-year-old driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken to the hospital.
Deputies said he faces charges because it appears alcohol was a factor in the crash.
