Two men went to the hospital fighting for their lives after being shot Sunday morning near UK's campus.

That's according to Lexington police who say three men were driving on Bolivar Street around 2:45 when they were shot at by someone outside of the car.

Officers say the driver and the man in the passenger seat were both hit and that the driver was able to take them to the hospital.

Police have not released the alleged victims names, but say the man in the backseat was not hurt.
