Two Fayette County Students Taken To Hospital After Bus Collision

Police say two special needs students were taken to the hospital Monday afternoon after a car side-swiped a school bus in Lexington.
Police say two special needs students were taken to the hospital Monday afternoon after a car side-swiped a school bus in Lexington.

Police say it happened on Todds Road at Kavenaugh Lane.

Officers shut down Todds Road between McFarland Lane and Autumn Ridge Drive after the accident.

They expected traffic to be rerouted till about 7:00pm Monday.

Police say a Fayette County school bus monitor and the driver of the car that reportedly side-swiped the bus were also taken to the hospital.

Police say all of the victims are expected to be okay.
