Two Blackburn Inmates Found In Texas

Two minimum-security inmates who walked away from Blackburn Correctional Complex on October 2 last year have been apprehended.
Two minimum-security inmates who walked away from Blackburn Correctional Complex on October 2, 2011 were apprehended Friday by authorities in Texas.

Anthony Kendrick was apprehended at approximately 11:45 a.m. in San Patricio, Texas. Kendrick, 41, was apprehended by Aransas Pass Police Department.

Jerry Nation was apprehended at approximately 12:05 p.m. in Rockport, Texas. Nation, 31, was apprehended by US Marshals. Kendrick was serving an eight-year sentence for a conviction out of McCracken County for complicity to robbery in the 2nd degree. He would have been eligible for parole in August 2013.

Nation was serving a 10-year sentence for convictions out of Anderson and Oldham counties for burglary and theft by unlawful taking charges. He would have been eligible for release in December 2011.
