Two Arrested After Social Media Robbery

Two people were arrested overnight Friday after arranging a meeting through social media to buy electronics then robbing the seller.
Police said two arrests late Friday started on social media.

According to police, a 16-year-old scheduled a meeting through Facebook to sell an iPod to Dominique Duff. The meeting happened outside a Waffle House on North Broadway in Lexington.

Police said rather than the planned exchange, Duff pulled a gun and he along with his accomplice, Tia Leavell fled. They were arrested shortly after, not far from that Waffle House.

Both have been charged.
