Two Alleged Thieves Arrested

Lexington Police said they had to get physical with a thief early Tuesday morning.

Police said two men were stealing things from cars near McGarry Drive and Wyndham Hills Drive.

They said when one of the men tried to pull out and hide a gun, officers took him down.

Police also said a homeowner had reported a handgun and a shotgun missing. Officers found the shotgun in a nearby yard.

Demontrey Neal and a juvenile from Nicholasville were arrested and charged with theft.
