Frankfort Police say an injury traffic collision occurred on Wilkinson Boulevard.

Police say a 2010 Dodge, traveling north, drifted into the left lane, which had been closed for road repair. The Dodge struck the Transportation Cabinet truck with the directional arrow.

Investigators say the operator of the Dodge was John Sullivan, 48, of Frankfort. He was transported by Fire & EMS personnel to the Frankfort Regional Medical for treatment of his injuries.

In addition to the truck displaying the directional arrow, the lane closing was clearly marked with a distance of orange cones. The Dodge drove through these cones before striking the truck. The investigation is continuing and police say charges are possible.
