Troopers are investigating a deadly crash in Clay County.

State Police say it happened Friday afternoon around 2:00 on Hal Rogers Parkway.

Troopers say a 44-year-old Ricky Sumner was headed east in a Chevy Impala when he crossed the center line and hit the rear trailer wheels of a Mack truck.

State Police say Sumner was airlifted to Saint Joseph of London where he was later pronounced dead.

The truck driver wasn't hurt.

Troopers do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
