A state trooper ended up hurt after a chase by car and foot in Scott County.
A trooper recovers after being hurt during a chase Saturday.

State police say just before one a.m., a trooper tried to pull over a white 2000 Chevrolet Tracker on Lexington Road, when the driver refused to stop. The trooper says that prompted a chase that lasted six miles -- with speeds topping 90 miles an hour --ending when the suspect drove down a one-way street, stopped, and ran from the vehicle.

Police later arrested 35-year-old Frank Hampton of Louisville. He faces various charges. Trooper Ray Caudill ended up going to Georgetown Community Hospital. State police would not describe his injuries.
