A Burnside pastor arrested for a triple homicide in Danville reportedly knew the victims.

Kenneth Keith is charged in a triple murder that happened about three weeks ago at a Danville pawn shop.

Police say the 48-year-old is a pastor at Main Street Baptist Church and also runs Gold Rush Gold Buyers on Monticello Street in Somerset.

Keith is charged in the September 20th murders of Michael and Angela Hockensmith, and Daniel P. Smith.

We’ve been told Keith knew the Hockensmiths and Smith.

Keith apparently ran the ABC Gold, Games and More in Danville. Michael Hockensmith supposedly worked under Keith for two years.

Police said that’s where the three were shot and killed during a robbery.

According to reports, Keith owned the pawn shop until this summer when he sold it to the Hockensmiths and Steve Divine.

Danville Police say they worked with Kentucky State Police, Somerset Police and Agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Wednesday afternoon to execute search warrants in Pulaski County.

According to investigators, the warrants were served at Gold Rush Gold Buyers, Main Street Baptist Church and the parsonage next to the Church where Keith lives.

He's being held at the Pulaski County Jail.
