Weather Concerns Lead To Several Halloween Postponements

Several cities/counties are postponing their Trick-or-Treating festivities until Friday due to weather predictions. Look below to see if it’s in your area.

•Trick or Treat in Lexington's outdoor trick or treat to Friday night at 6-8p.
•Halloween Update: The City of Richmond has moved trick or treat to Friday, Nov. 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. The Halloween Hoe-Down has been cancelled. At this time, trick or treat will remain from 6 to 8 p.m. for the City of Berea and those living in the county. Berea's Halloween at the Park has been moved to the Russel Acton Folk Center.
•The City of Lawrenceburg has RESCHEDULED this years TRICK OR TREAT HOURS to FRIDAY November 1st from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
•TRICK OR TREAT ON MAIN to FRIDAY November 1st from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Please watch closely for all pedestrians during this time.

•TRICK-OR-TREAT RESCHEDULED!! The City of Nicholasville, The City of Wilmore, and Jessamine County have all rescheduled Trick-Or-Treat for Friday, November 1st from 6:00-8:00 due to storms expected tomorrow evening. This includes the Spooktacular event planned for Nicholasville Downtown Businesses.

•Paris is postponing their trick or treat night to Friday.

•The city of Georgetown has changed their trick or treating day to Friday instead of Thursday.. due to the weather conditions.

•Versailles will be moving their trick or treat to Friday from 6-8 due to weather.

TO 8 P.M. BECAUSE OF FORECASTED INCLEMENT WEATHER. THIS INCLUDES SPOOKY TIME ON MAIN IN NICHOLASVILLE AND TREATS ON MAIN IN WILMORE.

•Winchester DUE TO PROJECTED WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR TOMORROW NIGHT, COUNTY-WIDE TRICK OR TREAT AND HALLOWEEN MAIN-IA HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST FROM 6 TO 8 P.M.

•The city of Georgetown has changed their trick or treating day to Friday instead of Thursday.. due to the weather conditions. So trick or treat will be Friday from 6-8 pm.

•Danville Trick or Treating will be on Friday night from 6-8 p.m.

- Frankfort Trick or Treating moving to Friday night from 6pm to 8pm

- Mt. Vernon will have their Trick or Treating on Friday from 6:30-8:30

- DUE TO PROJECTED WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR TRICK OR TREAT NIGHT, COUNTY-WIDE TRICK OR TREAT AND HALLOWEEN MAIN-IA HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST FROM 6 TO 8 P.M.

- Truck or Treat at Church of God on Old Paris Road in Lexington will be on Friday night from 6-8 p.m

- Cynthiana will have trick or treat on Friday from 6-8

KSP to Hold Drive-Through ‘Safe Trick or Treat’ Event on Oct. 31, 2013
WHAT: KSP ‘Safe Trick or Treat’ Event
WHEN: Thursday, Oct. 31, 6:00-8:00 p.m. ET
WHERE: KSP Headquarters, 919 Versailles Road, Frankfort, Ky. 40601
This is to to offer a safe venue for children to receive treats in a ‘drive-through’ format. Cars will enter KSP Headquarters from the eastbound lanes of U.S. 60 and proceed along a one-quarter-mile running track that circles the building. Children will remain in their vehicles. There will be multiple candy and treat station stops set up along the track. All candy has been screened by KSP.

No Tricks - Just A Treat for Kids 12 and Under this Halloween
Participating IHOP® restaurants are offering children a safe place to spend Halloween this year by offering children 12 and under a free Scary Face Pancake on October 31 from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m- and that's no trick! The "design-your-own" Scary Face Pancake includes an oversized signature buttermilk pancake with a whipped topping mouth and strawberry nose, served with two mini OREO® cookies and candy corn on the side to allow kids to create their own Halloween hotcake.

Fayette Mall to host mall-wide Trick-or-Treat on Thursday

Calling all cowboys and clowns, pirates and princesses, superheroes and Smurfs: Fayette Mall is hosting a FREE family night of Trick-or-Treat at participating retailers.

*All children (up to age 12) must be in costume and accompanied by an adult. Adults: please no masks.
