Due to Labor Day, the trash pick-up schedule for the city of Lexington has been changed.

The Division of Waste Management says residents whose regular collection day is Monday, will receive collection on Wednesday this week.

Residents who receive Monday pick-up should place their Herbies, Rosies, and Lennies out by 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon to ensure pick-up Wednesday.

Businesses that have city waste management for their dumpsters and normally have pick-ups on Monday will have their pick-ups on Tuesday. Businesses that normally have Tuesday pick-up will have Wednesday pick-up.
