Police said a train track in Scott County was shut down Monday after a train collided with a flat rail car.

Investigators said the conductor suffered minor injuries after the collision at East Main Street, just east of Maddox Street in Georgetown.

The unattached rail car was full of coiled steel.

Police were trying to figure out where it had come from.

Investigators said the East Main Street crossing would remain closed during the cleanup.
