LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that a traffic diversion for US 60/Versailles Road and a lane closure for Man O War Boulevard are scheduled.  The traffic switch and lane closure are necessary for Phase III of the project to begin.

·        Wednesday, March 20 at 8:00 p.m. - all eastbound traffic on US 60/Versailles Road will be shifted completely against the westbound lanes.  All intersections and entrances will be right turns only. Left turns will be prohibited at all intersections with these exceptions:

Huntertown Road

Pisgah Pike

Shannon Run

Westmorland Road

Rosalie Road

Old Clubhouse Lane

Keeneland Boulevard

Truck Traffic – trucks are required to travel in the left lane through the construction limits.

A reduced speed limit with double fines is in place for violations that occur within the work zone.

Alternate routes – motorists can utilize Interstate 64 and US 421 (Leestown Road)

Two lanes of US 60/Versailles Road in each direction are currently open and will remain open.

·        Wednesday, March 20 at 8:00 p.m. - the right lane will close on Man O War Boulevard westbound (inner loop) from the airport entrance (Terminal Drive) to Versailles Road.  This lane will remain closed until further notice.
