Traffic Impact Friday Night On Richmond Road At New Circle

Motorists traveling inbound on Richmond Road at New Circle Road in Lexington should expect delays on Friday night through Saturday morning due to water line work.

Two inbound lanes of Richmond Road are scheduled to be blocked under the New Circle Road overpass from 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 16th through 8:00 a.m. Saturday, May 17th, according to Kentucky-American Water Company.

KAWC is installing a 24-inch valve in a water transmission main.

People who live in the affected area have been notified that their water will be cut-off during the construction, according to KAWC.
