Traffic Alert: I-75 In Rockcastle County Down To One Lane Beginning July 27

Beginning Sunday, July 27, Interstate 75 in Rockcastle County will be reduced to one lane between mile points 58 and 65 for pavement work, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
Beginning Sunday, July 27, 2014, Interstate 75 in Rockcastle County will be reduced to one lane between mile points 58-and-66 for pavement work, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

Northbound and southbound lanes will be reduced to one lane between 6:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 6:00 p.m. on Thursdays to 7:00 a.m. Fridays.

Around August 25, 2014, both northbound and southbound lane reductions will increase to a 24-hour period daily Monday through Thursday for about six weeks.

No lane closures will occur between 7:00 a.m. Fridays through 6:00 p.m. Sundays.

Work is scheduled to be completed by November 30, 2014.

The duration of work may be adjusted for weather or other unforseeable delays.

Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra travel time to reach their destinations.
