A lawyer has entered a not guilty plea for three UK football players accused of using marijuana.

Running Back Raymond Sanders, Cornerback Marcus Caffey and Wide Receiver Bookie Cobbins were not present at the hearing Tuesday afternoon in Lexington.

According to court documents the three were charged in September after they admitted to a police officer that they had smoke the drug.

They are expected back in court in January.
