It happened around 11:00am Monday at the Locust Ridge Apartments in Dry Ridge.

Investigators say four adults and a child were in the home at the time of the explosion.

One child and one adult were not hurt.

But firefighters say another adult was airlifted to the hospital with severe burns.

And two others were taken to the hospital by ambulance to be treated for burns.

No word yet on what caused the explosion.
