Three people were sent to the hospital after a truck and Xerox van collided in Lexington.

Police said the driver of the truck crossed over a median and crashed with the van on the outer loop of New Circle near Russell Cave Road.

The truck flipped and the two people inside were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

The driver of the van was also taken to the hospital but police said he was not seriously hurt.

Police on the scene said they suspect alcohol might be a factor in the crash.
