State Police say they found a man's body outside the scene of a fire.

Officers say they were at a fire on Couchtown Road in Perry County.

While fire fighters were battling the fire, they found the man's body outside.

Then later, they say they found a woman's body inside the house.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

The exact cause of the fire and their deaths remain under investigation.

Another fire investigation is taking place in Harlan County.

State Police believe a fire in Lynch is what killed 81-year old Marjorie Boggs and injured her son 63-year-old Robert Boggs.

Officers do not suspect foul play at this time.
