Police said an Estill County woman ended up in jail after reportedly sending a text message to the wrong person.

Investigators said Kassie Hardy thought she had sent the text to someone she thought would buy oxycodone pills from her.

Police said Hardy sent the text to the wrong number, a number that just happened to belong to a Captain with the Irvine Police Department.

Investigators said they arranged to meet with Hardy to make the drug deal at which time she was arrested and charged with Attempted Drug Trafficking.
