Teenager's Legacy Lives On With BBQ Sauce

A teenager, who died of cystic fibrosis, lives on thanks to his passion for cooking, and his passion for others.
Carlos Turner is no longer with us. He died of cystic fibrosis four years ago.

But Carlos is still contributing to his community, thanks to his two great passions: cooking and helping others. He created a barbecue sauce, and according to his family, that recipe was a secret. And his last wish was for that sauce to be marketed.

And this week, it happened. In Louisville, a new barbecue sauce is on Wal-Mart shelves. The sauce, from Bloemer Food Sales. The sales benefit the Kosair Children's Hospital, where Carlos spent time before his own death at the age of 16.
