Braxton Upthegrove and his family have been raising awareness for organ donation for a couple years.

The family said their passion for the subject came when they found out Braxton needed a kidney.

Today, they hosted an event called “Battle ‘Till We Win” at Backstretch Bar and Grill.

The Upthegrove’s said they hopefully inspire people to become organ donors and will also keep the conversation going about organ donation.

There was food, corn hole, raffles, a silent auction and live music.
